As I upgraded to 1.58, everything seemed to work great until I tried
to input a fleet that I had already inputed in 1.56, but was not
able to access in 1.58. The fleet selection showed in the main fleet
menu, but was not available in the drop down when entering the new
entry. I tried to delete the fleet in the main fleet menu and add it
again, but it still did not work. I then tried to edit the fleet in
the main fleet menu, but when editing, the fleet identification was
listed differently in edit than from the main menu. I finally had to
go back to 1.57 to get everything working again. Thanks for 1.57, it
works without a hitch!
Hi Fred, Fleet records themselves have been replaces by 'scoring rules' - the fleet field is just another field lilke any other now. The reason for this is that you can now socre by any field, not just fleets - the scoring rules are a generalisation of what was there before - i.e. "when scoring by *this field* and the value of the field is *this* used *this* rating system etc". Sailwave should have done the upgrade for you such that you could score by the fleet fields and everything worked as before - i.e. it translated old fleet records into scoring rule records.
