Is there a way to give a competitor multiple ratings? i.e
and IRC number and PY and then set which is used depending on the fleet?
The scenario is this; We have a series of races within which
there are two main classes, IRC and PY. We also give an overall prize which is
calculated on PY Is is possible to give the IRC boats both ratings and have the
class results calculated on IRC and the overall on PY without entering the
competitors twice?

It depands what you mean. Have a look at the tickbox in the scoring system
that allows you to update a competitors rating from the rating files when
the scoring system is applied. This allows you to score by more than one
rating system.
