Huw and Jon,
Wow, your results look great! Any chance you can give us a little rundown on how you did it?

Andy,
Thanks for the appreciation, but we have done nothing special. It is
all standard Sailwave, well I did have a tweaked version over the
version currently available for download. I am sure that Colin will
be uploading a newer version incorporating everything in our tweaked
version.
The Top10 & Country views have to be turned on, that's all!
Click ‘User Interface’ button on toolbar and click Nation based
publishing templates.
There is still a small problem in presenting one of the country
views, which I have raised with Colin and I am waiting feedback.
However, Colin may be busy as he was helping in the background
during the week.
Kind regards,
Huw

Not quite just the standard output - the Sailwave output has been
plugged into the website formatting, with lots of fancy javascript
and other css tweaks!

The “Nation” templates are currently hardwired
to the Nat field. You could of course use the Nat field for
anything - like Club or County/State. Even better I could
generalise it but I’m swamped.
@malcolm - the page with the actual medal icons is not me - I
suspect this was the page causing issues and it was replaced. Simon
serves up the data using Ajax but there is no Javascript or extra
CSS in the results that I can remember… for example i just
published this from Sailwave out of the box :-
[http://sailwave.com/results/cjtop10.htm](http://sailwave.com/results/cjtop10.htm)
NB: These National templates operate over N series. i.e. if you
have an event with different series, they give you kinda kinda
regatta overview capability.
Cheers,
Colin J

Huw, Jon (and Colin if interested!),
I will be scoring the ISAF Youth Worlds in Dublin Bay next month (http://www.dublinbay2012.com), which will be of remarkably similar format to the Skandia Sail for Gold. If you’re available, I’d appreciate a call together to chat through the results, and any gotcha’s we should be aware of. If you’d like to come over for the event itself, the beer is on me! You can ping me directly at ‘bowringi at eircom dot net’
Regards, Ian.
