24 Hour Race Timing

Murrays Bay Sailing Club is organising a 24 hour race for aprox 50
sailors. Does anybody know of any software that we can use to manage
the event. We want to

- count laps
- provide a real time leader board
- provide other stats such as average lap times, sailor lap times etc

Prefer something done in execel / access / VB that we can easily
adapt.

Cheers,
Dave

Have a look at http://24-hour-race.wlyc.org.uk/

This is a UK 24hr event which has been run most successfully for many many
years

Have not competed myself but from what I have heard, this may be what you
are looking for

Regards
Ralph Tingle
