5 point tally penalty

Hi

I was wondering what the easiest way to give a +5 point tally penalty would be.

Currently I’m choosing a score which isn’t discarded then adding finish place + 5 pts non discard-able which just feels messy

Is there a better way to do it?

Hi Matt,

Short answer yes :wink:

  Sailwave has a column/field for exactly this scenario- A penalty

that is non discardable. - and it is called ‘Penalties’ by
default.

  Click the columns button the toolbar and scroll down until you

find race scores, Total and Nett points, double click and set to
visible on screen and published. Note if there are multiple
penalties to be add you have to do the adding up yourself.
