Adding sponsors to the header when publishing

Hello all,

Newbie question…

I’m trying to edit the header to add sponsor logos to the results, I can’t work it out.

I’ve tried editing the header.txt but it doesn’t seem to work when publishing, i can only add the venue logo and event logo in the series properties.

What am I missing?

Firstly welcome to the Sailwave User Group forum.

FYI - there is a section in the Sailwave User Guide on advanced publishing and modifying header.txt & footer.txt.

Are you when publishing using Results or Results V2? Reason for question is they use different header.txt files.

If you can include the contents of the header.txt file you have created that would be helpful.

Yes I’m using results v2, is it the header2.txt I need to modify?

Short answer yes. :slight_smile:

Results V2 is the only one that by default uses header2.txt, which scales and balances the event & venue images.

Please can you check you are modifying the right header2/header.txt file. Go to ‘Setup’ on menu bar and open ‘Global options’ and check where the template files are being read from. The header/header2.txt file to be modified will be picked up from the Templates folder path listed.

Also if you attach the file to a reply or included the text of the file in a reply, I will test it out for you.
