Adjusting the table headers in published results

I suspect there is a template somewhere I can tweak to solve this but my searches have born no fruite either in the Sailwave templates or here in the forum so I apologize if this has been asked and answered.

In the results the individual class results tables' headers state the class name as '<classID> Class'. As we typically use numbers to identify classes I would like to reverse this order to become 'Class <classID>'

E.g.

   'Protection Island - 3 Class - April 30, 2011 at 0900'

would become

   'Protection Island - Class 3 - April 30, 2011 at 0900'

Is this something I have control over? If so, can someone please point me to the Sailwave template I must adjust?

Thanks in advance!

I don't think it is possible to modify what Sailwave generates. I asked a bunch in the past and did research and found no way to do it.

However, because it is going to be the same format every time you should be able to do some kind of post-processing script or macro that will make the changes you want. For another project, I have used a macro in Excel that will open an HTML file, write it to a spreadsheet, modify the contents and then rewrite to a new HTML file. There are probably lots of ways to implement that concept. In the past when I needed to modify the look of a results HTML file generated by Sailwave I generally just went in and did it by hand but I was using it for a series with only a few races.

By the way, the middle "results" part of a results HTML file generated by Sailwave is done by the "results wizard" (invoked in your template by the line " `html.resultswiz()` "). In theory, it ought to be possible to write a different results wizard but Sailwave is closed proprietary software (as opposed to open source software) so as a practical matter that is not possible (at least not without a lot of reverse-engineering work!). Post-processing seems the way to go.

You can add javascript to your own template and
rearrange the HTML in an onLoad function. It should be easy
enough - grab the text from the appropriate element - tweak it -
write it back.

I am working on a javascript style that allows pretty much

anything without having to pull apart what’s there as above.

Nobody can survive w/o javascript enabled these days...
