HURRAY!!! Thanks!! I do not think I would have found that on my own. And thanks also for prodding me to name my scoring system, did not look very professional …
I have been experimenting with tweaking scoring methods to match what had been done manually in my club. I was able to duplicate that method. Question: Is there a way to “import” in a scoring system from one series to another? It would be time saving to get it all developed in one then copy it to all the others.

I just upgraded to 1.95B6. Something happened to my scoring systems
in all of my series files. In the left panel next to Scoring
System,
it now says APPENDIX A. It used to say MY SCORING SYSTEM. When I
double click on the left panel to bring up the scoring system, all
that it offers for scoring is low point systems. Whats going on?
It still scores correctly, but I am not able to see or modify my

I posted a screen shot in the files section, file is called
appendix A.
Hi,
There is a new User Interface item in the setup menu and an
associated button on the toolbar to control what is seen in various
windows. By default just commonly used facilities are shown. Click
the UI button and enable the hight point scoring options.
The old default scoring system name was “My scoring system” - I
noticed when browsing results on the web that few people actually
renamed this so I changed the default to Appendix A which is probably
true 99% of the time. If not just change the name.
You are correct that scoring systems are local to each series (file) -
everythign is except the global options. The idea behind this is
that series files are portable - the stuff in global options not
affecting scoring in any critical way.
It was envisaged that the
File+NewSeriesUsingOneOfYourSeriesAsAProForma menu would be used to
create new series based on the way you like to have stuff set up.
i.e. create some series to use as “templates” and put them somewhere
safe then use the File+NewSeries… whenever you want a new series -
in that way all your scoring systems will be populated and named as
appropriate.
