Appendix B

I am trying to use this scoring system on the Windsurfing
Competitions , in the series tie, i need to apply appendix A and B in
it. How could i add Appendix B in the system?? Please help!!

The user interface by default hide all optiions
that are not generally useful to a simple regatta - so if you don’t see
something you’re looking for always go to the UI window and see if it
can be enabled. In this case you need to enable non standard series
tie breaking or somehting like that - then B8.8 willl appear as
available in scoring systems. If you don’t mind see stuff you don’;t
need then use the UI window to enable everything…

There are some generic notes about this in the Concepts section of the
help file.

i am trying to use Appendix B 8.3 (a) but i just found there is only
8.8 .Are there any chance that i can apply B8.3 (a) in the system as
i had tried to click the possilbe item in the user interface.

I assume that you are referring to the Alternative System low point scoring 0.7, 2,3, etc.

This can be accommodated by SailWave.

  1. Goto the scoring system

  2. Select Tab race scoring

  3. In the “Custom low point defined” box and enter 0.7, 2, 3

My only question is why do you want to use that scoring? It will make little to no difference to the final results.
