Hi, recently have had an issue with Sailwave. We are running Time on Time with a PHRF handicapping system: in one race there was a protest that assigned a finishing position. The problem came in scoring the series: because the one position was assigned and every other position was calculated from finish times, Sailwave would not calculate the series. So everytime I scored a new race, I changed the assigned position to an equivelant time, rescored the series and then changed the one result back to an assigned position so that the results were accurately portraited. Is there some other way to do this that is easier... not that I will probably ever have that situation again.

Keith,
I think this can be done by using the scoring code RDG ( or creating a new code - e.g. AFP, that works like RDG)
With RDG, the points are set by hand.
I created a new code by clicking on RDG, then clicked on New' (In
Setup’/Scoring System'/
Scoring Codes’)
Then click on Edit' to change the code to (e.g.) AFP. You can also change the description in
Properties’.
Then (under `Edit Result’) you can enter the appropriate points for the new code AFP.
I tried this on an existing handicap set of results - doing rescore did not bring up any complaints, after changing a score to AFP.
