Returning to SUG in case others can help
Martin - having some problem with your file as I think once you have moved
into a different day you cannot roll back to a previous position.
When testing, it is always worthwhile saving copies of your file at
different stages of the regatta so that you can return to a previous
position

My Kiel testing has been put on hold for a while so responding to Martin's
problem
When using the Assign Race Flights tool, the options to chose flight names
is base upon AddC or names which have been used to set up the entrants for
day 1.
This is fine if the regatta is being run using 4 flights.
What is needed is somewhere in set up to establish the number of flights and
their names especially where Qual can be Blue/Red etc & Finals Gold/Silver
etc
Regattas can have upwards from 2 flights & could also have a different
number of flights between the Qualification & Finals
Am I looking in the wrong place or has this facility not been provided?
I remember your initial objective was to replicate AddC so not sure if all
the variations above have been considered yet

Yes, you're right... I found out after a while..
But, when I, after qualifying, are renaming groups (for the final races);
How do I put boats into those groups??

Have not had a look at your file (just returned from big schools
regatta) but should you not be using the Assign to flights tool rather than
the seed tool.
My understanding is that the seed tool is for allocating to flights for
the first day then the assign to fights is for RE-assigning after a number
of races

I've been testing groups scoring, and rearranging groups after each
day and/or final series....
I (think) I have found that when rearranging, I need to use one new
coloumn for the new groups...If I use the SEED tool to put competitors int
new groups, and the new groups have differnt name (moving from red/blue to
gold/silver) SW gives me an error stating that sailors where not in a start
in race1. Witch is correct, because the seed tool changed the field FLIGHT,
witch the starts in R1 and R2 was based on!
I feel stucked on this!
Sending directly, since I'm attaching the file I used for test. It
contains 3 races; 2 initial races and 1 final.
