Avast detects SW as infected

I recently installed SW 2.17.1 and have used it a few times, after using previous versions for many years.

Today, Avast detected sailwave.exe as infected with Win32:evo-gen and moves this file into its chest.

Anyone else had this? Hopefully, its a false positive?

Hi Malcolm,

I have the same issue having just tried it. It has happened since I

upgraded to Avast 2015.

Think I am was running Sailwave v2.17.2 but can't check ;-)

Kind regards,
Huw

Huw,

In the assumption that its a false positive, I moved the file back to its place and told Avast to add it to an exclusion list.
