I now wonder about this Ave Speed column.... I've upgraded to 1.42
but still see the Ave Speed showing as the exact course distance/sec.
when I publish.
eg. If the course is 4.5 nm., the Ave Speed shows as 04.5/sec
Also, the venue website doesn't publish as a link, only as text.
Thanks.
BTW, Sailwave is great, it sure makes being a volunteer easier!
Hi, can you send me the sailwave series, so that I can have a look at it.
The rendition of the venue is defined by the template used to publish the
results - are you using a standard template or a DIY one? CJ

Are you sure that you're using Sailwave v1.42 - what does Help+About say? -
because it scores OK here - i.e. the average time for Scptre43 in race 1 is
7.256nm/hr.
I have attached a fixed Results.htm template that fixes your other problem.
You need to save this file to c:\program files\sailwave\templates - or
equivalent depending on where you installed Sailwave.

Colin

I've forwarded you a copy of the file.
I'm using the standard templates. I've tried a couple different ones
with the same results.

Thanks for the help on the rating changes.

Yes, I'm using v1.42. I added another race and am now getting the
right average speeds.
As for the file attachment, where is it? I don't see anything
attached here. Can you send it by email or post it on your site?
Thanks.
Now that I seem to have your attention..... I notice that when
different fleets have a different distance to sail, when published
the results only show the default distance. Is there a way to have
the published results show the course distance for all fleets?

You needed to rescore the series to update the average speeds.

I forgot it; it's attached to this email. Save into ...sailwave/templates.

I'll check it out; it should work as you expect.
