After discovering systems like NHC don’t work for average laps when boats don’t complete the same number of laps I went looking for an alternative. There are a lot of bespoke methods used by clubs. I was hoping Sailwave Gurus might consider adding a simplified system where Sailwave selects in a race the 50% (middle competitor) gets no adjustment and then you can set how much PY to go down or up depending whether above or below that mid point. This is used at Bowmoor I believe. I am not clever enough to use the external mode spreadsheet to do this. Its based entirely on race position, not time or distance. I tried using NHC after adjusting the elapsed for the lower lap boats to the same number of laps as the highest lapping boat but that can be every competitor except one. All help welcome, even if its showing how to use external mode spreadsheet.
