Can Sailwave handle scoring on Average Lap Times racing?

Our club is running a 10 hour race with teams of helm/crew with a
single boat (various classes such as RS200, Enterprise, Topper) allowed
for each team.

The scoring will need to be worked out on average laptimes (using same
start/finish line).

Is it simply a matter of entering the total elapsed time and the number
of laps for each boat as they cross the finish line after the 10 hour
duration or is that too simplistic?

Any hints appreciated.

that's it - just elapsed+laps or start+finish+laps - sailwave will do the
rest - when publishing include columns for elapsed/corrected/laps etc cos
its useulf.
