We are running a series of 9 races over 5 days. A safety boat crew member has entered for the week and would like average points for the 2 races he did not sail because he was on duty. How do I do this?

To answer your question.
Open Scoring system and select the the Scoring codes tab. I suggest you create a new code something like SBD (Safety Boat Duty) by creating new from RDGa code. When you have a new code, then click the Properties tab and enter something like in the description box at the bottom “Safety Boat Duty points”

Once you have created the scoring apply to the 2 races the competitor did not sail whilst covering safety. These two races they will be scored average points of the other races.
