Hi
Another question:
How do I enter the number of races in a series?
When setting up a new series, do you copy and edit a previous one, if
so how do you delete the no of races.

As such you don't enter the number of races in the series. Just keep plugging in new races until you are done. Make sure you set up your discard profile under scoring systems. Also make sure you read the FAQ's http://www.sailwave.com/index.php?page=faq they have the answers to most questions.

Hi Mike,

Another question:

Most users create a set of series that they use as 'templates' and save in a
folder somewhere. These tewmplates can be populated with competitors or
nto - or different sets of competitors etc etc. Then when they want to
create a new series they open the appropriate template and do a save-as into
a new template. And yes, existing series act as just a good start - i.e.
open en existing series, do a save-as and clear out all the results. You
should avoid starting from scratch every time.

you can delete/add races using the edit menu - to delete a rce you need to
have clikced in a race cell first (as opposed to a competitor cell). There
is no concept of RacesInSeries - I did try it but it's impossible to know
which races to delete if the user decrements the value! - currently you use
the menu items to add/delete races as appropriate.
