I am looking at setting up the scoring for 3 day event where we will have 15 boats and 45 competitors. Competitors will be switching boats between races so multiple people will be using the same boat/ sail number.
Has anyone had experience in setting this up? it may be addressed here already but I’m not sure what to call it. 
Is there a way ‘on-site’ to help in avoiding the confusion that works best?

Hi Paul,
My suggestion is to use t he Bow Number field and give each helm a
number which is kept in this field and you then enter the results in
the Sail Number Wizard using Bow Number instaed of SailNo.
The hard bit is keeping track of the Bow Number(competitor) from
race to race.

So I assume that it is the competitor that you want to score not the boat - correct?
Are all the boats the same class / handicap?
There is nothing prevent you from changing the SailNo between races or you can enter Helm names into the Sailno Wizard - really depends on how you receive the results
