Hi Jon,
That was when accessing via my iphone … and maybe my browser. Anyway that is solved by clicking yes. It happened with another sailor today. I reassured him.
… now I have two boats who the program states to not to be in a start for Races 1 to 3, but they still seem to be counted in the results.
Can you please tell me what I have done wrong? Please find the file attached.
Cheers,
Rob

Hi Rob,
Sorry to hear that you are having problems uploading to teh Sailwave web site. I see Jon has already replied with a suggestion or two.
I have one suggestion an dit is to open Global options on the Set-up menu and change the setting for Passive transfers by checking the check box on the FTP tab.
Kind regards,
Huw

Hi Rob,
The problem with your file is the names of fleets used in the starts don’t match the name of fleets that the competitors have
Formula 15 and Formula Fifteen we know are the same but the computer sees them as different
same for RS 100 8.4 is not the same as RS100_8.4 to the computer
As for the https if you use a link like this https://www.sailwave.com/results/test.htm then you will be accessing the results using encrypted transmission
Not that in this particular case it matters though as all we are sending is publically accessible information. But it is sometimes important you use the https as when embedding links into other sites they will complain if the links are not secure.

Well ….
Thank you Jon,
I thought I looked at that, but obviously not!
I have fixed it now, what a rookie mistake
Cheers
