Normally I calculate a TCF result for a race, then use an alias fleet to calculate a comparison PHRF result. But in an upcoming race, I want to score the first fleet as place in a pursuit situation, and the PHRF as normal.
Can the result be place in fleet one, and elapsed time in fleet two? If so, how?
I can send the file...

Alias works by taking the finishing information from the main competitor
and applying it to the alias competitor. If you start with finishing
order then that is all you will have in the alias competitor.
Just score with finish times and no adjustments (not finishing order)
for the main competitors and you'll have what you want for the alias
competitors. After all, you must be taking finish times to calculate
elapsed times, right?

Correct. We are taking finishing times, but would also have starting time to calculate elapsed time for the PHRF calculation.

So I can score based on finishing time? I’ll give that a try…

Steve,
We've done this for a local pursuit race. Enter the starting times for
each aliased competitor ahead of time (use multiple BLW files if you
have multiple possible course lengths and starting times based on wind
strength on race day). As I recall you cannot import finishing times but
have to put them in by hand using the Sail Number Wizard (if I recall
correctly importing finishes overwrites starting times as well, even if
not being imported; or, put the starting times in your finishing times
file and import those as well).
If I haven't forgotten a step that should get you what you want but in
any event it should point you in the right direction.
