build 2.00 build 0.7 (still private beta of version 2.00) available

Changes from 0.6 build:-

  • Don't show competitors who are alises in the rearrange recorded places window.
  • Add button to convert all unmapped fields to 'ignore me' fields when importing CSV files.
  • Fix CSV import problems which resulted in a blank right hand side of the mapping field.
  • Remove extra comma chacters in some publishing styles which made them fail in firefox.
  • Fix even and odd classes used on code the table when publishing.
  • Add rank and sourcever to RYA xml.
  • Add two publishing options, one for a contents and one for codes. Both previously hardwired to on.

3 more tries left until I get to 1.0 and go public with version 2.00
    build 1.

  • Colin: two things.

1 - I could not connect and load up 2.07 - is it really out there?

2 - In 2.06 I still cannot scroll left / right to see the columns that
are beyond the size of my screen, when I have maximized by window. When
I make it the smaller size (tile) the window then I get the left /
right option at the bottom of my screen.

Will this give you the opportunity to create another build getting
    closer to 2.1?

    Bill

Colin, Still doing some testing of the flights stuff so should have some more comments later today. I have attached a word doc with a bunch of screen shots which should make it easier to see what problem I am referring to in some of the cases. Generally it seems pretty solid, we scored a one design regatta last weekend and had no major problems.

Problem 1 – File names that include spaces fail to open

Problem 2 – Can not Display Races

Problem 3 – No Quick Method to Create Numerous Aliases

Problem 4 – Property Bar includes Competitor aliases in Count

Problem 5 – No Quick Way of Telling that a Competitor is an Alias

Add to the problemlist - BLW-files does not open with "double-click"

That almost definitely includes file located in a directory without a path as well.
Since your contains a space after c:\documents ......
You are almost definitely running into the space problem.
Just copy the file into a folder that doesn't have spaces anywhere in the path to it.

  • Hi Mark,

Problem 2 – Can not Display Races

    Can you expand on that…?

    Colin

    Sailwave

    Hi Bill,

0.7 build is there - could be it was not propagated to proxy servers
    etc…

The scrolling thing is a pain - its out of my control - it implies you
have the global option to freeze columns left of the races - so that
when you scroll right they stay visible - however this also means that
if you shrink the window to be smaller than the cols up to the races,
you cant scroll at all. if you need to use small windows i suggest
turning off the freeze option for now.

    Thanks for the feedback

    Colin
