  I was too slow in deleting and another admin approved or it was

auto approved. Very bad in my view.

  I have since deleted from the the SUG but after the horse had

Guys

The password only has a life of 24 hrs, but you had to have one which would work. It seems it does not?

I will set a new one and see if the FTP works.

Try doing ftp externally, e.g. from a CMD window, to see if it works

that way, i.e can logon and transfer a file.

As Malcom suggests you can use the command line, but you could also use one of the free ftp applications. I can recommend core ftp le http://www.coreftp.com/ which is excellent and free,
