I’ll do a tweak tonight to start the browser in a separate thread. CJ.

explorer 6. except it’s not just closing the one browser thread it was using. they all disappear on me, whether i had 2, 3, or 10 open. i may have had browser windows open for several different sites. when i click close on the published results window they all disappear, not just the published results window.

Hi Barb,

Sailwave makes use of an active browser thread if one is running and displays the results as if you had pressed a link to go there. So 'Close' will close the whole thread and 'Back' will go back to the window you were at before the preview (which is what you're after I think?). At any rate it works like that with Explorer. Which browser are you using?

CJ

am i just crazy, or does it only happen to me? whenever i "preview" results to my browser window and then close it i "lose"/sailwave-winds-up-closing-out all the browser windows i have open, which is really annoying. i'm running the latest v39 beta version.

Hi Barb,

Contrary to my previous message I’ve failed to control how Explorer starts (surprise); it could be the size of the G&T I’ve just had though… Anyway, you can control it from your end. Go into Tools+InternetOptions+Advanced (from Explorer) and then untick “Reuse windows for launching shortcuts”. That seems to sort it out for me. CJ
