check penalty

Hi Collin,

I would be greatfull if you could inform me if a check penalty is
included in Saiwave. By the way, are we going to have ver. 1.58
soon? :slight_smile:

Hi John,

I don't know what a check penalty is! Can you explain please.

1.58 will be some time yet, but you can preview the progress so far by
downloading the latest beta version from the web site download page. Note
that, as with all beta/preview versions, it may have some bugs and
instability as well as draft versions of some user interface components that
may be awkward to use (e.g. the 'select competitors in a start' interface).

Check penalty is when for example a competitor does not complete the
check in/ check out form in the start and the finish of the races.

What is the penalty - i.e. points/pecentage - can the existing code methods handle it?
