Combined Results for Entire Season

Version 1.47 Beta 8

I have tried to combine all series results into a single file to get an
overall score. Each series had a discard profile and has been scored.
When I use Merge feature and merge all the races into a new file I have
some issues. If I remove the discard profile, the program removes the
previous discards when I rescore the file. If I do not rescore the file
the total for the year is incorrect. The total year was 25 races with 5
discards. How do I write a discard profile to make that happen... it
appears the discard only scores the first 10 races.

Hi Brad,

After a merge Sialwave doesn'tknow the reuslts are from N series, it just
sees a single series, so when you score it applies the discard profile
specified in the series containing the merged data. What is the precise
requirement you are trying to model..? perhaps there is a way around it.

NB: if you specify discard profiles with expressions, they will then usually
work in combined series. I am always willing to help to find the correct
expression, cos' it's not always immediately obvious.
