I am a new user of Sailwave, at Dalhousie Yacht Club, St. Catharines, Ontario (Lake Ontario). So far, it's a great program. For our club racing, we have three series of five races each, with one drop per series. However, the overall season championship is based on all fifteen races with three drops allowed (and not necessarily one from each series). Is there a way to combine more than one series on a single page?
This is often done.
Have you tried exporting the results from your 2nd and 3rd series to csv files, then, using the 1st series, import first the 2nd series (via File / Import results from csv file) then the 3rd series?
You can then set the overall drop criteria an rescore the overall series.

Ok, great. I'll try it. Thanks

There
is no need to use csv files. We do it by saving a copy of the first
series calling it the “overall”. Then go to “file”
- “merge in another Sailwave series” and merge your second series
into the “overall”. Then repeat to merge in the third series.
Then
check your specifications for throwouts to be sure you have them right for a fifteen
race series (they may have been set up for a five race series). Note that
any scores based on the average score in the series like OOD will change
and scores based on the number of starters in the best attended race may
change. We believe that having those scores change is the fairest way to
handle scoring the new “overall” series but your club will have to
decide if you agree.
We
merge four series into one in just a couple of minutes.

Is it in any way possible to merge and keep the original points from the merged serie ??
(ie. not changing point based upon average score or number of starters/competitor (DNS, DNF aso))
ref.quote - the note in the answer from Will, if the club has decided to do otherwise.
