Copying Burgee images to sail wave results folder

Hi,
  Just getting to grips with sail wave, going well at the moment but now want to publish to sail wave results folder and show burgees. I see that I need the burgee images available online. Does anyone know who to copy the image files to the sail wave results folder?

Hi Ian,

The easiest thing to do is put the images on some site such as imgur.com which is free.

The site will then give you a link you can use for the images

If they are normal images that your club use on their website then you can use a link to those.

The images don’t have to be on the same site as the results.

I too have had the same issue trying to add a club Burgee to the result sheet. I have tried placing a suitable Burgee jpeg into a folder and upload it to sailwave, but all I get is the text “Club Burgee” where the Burgee is supposed to be. Ideally both sides of the title to centre the Result title.

Brian,

Did you successfully load the burgee image to the sailwave results folder? If so did you change the path in the sailwave series properties to the location in the sailwave results folder?

Hi Ian,

You can’t load the burgee images to the Sailwave results folder. The images go on some other site. If you have a club web site then you would typically use them from there, if you don’t have a club web site you can put them on imgur.com site.
