Copying Starts (1.74) Another problem

Sorry Colin
Just realised that the default of Start 1 for all competitors is not removed
Am I doing something wrong??

Regards
Ralph

Hi Ralph,

If you delete all the starts, Sailwave will always put one back called
"start 1". I think it tells you it's going to do this as you delete the
last start. The implementation assumes there is at least one start per
race.

Hi Colin
Not sure if I conveyed the problem correctly.

I set up a 15 race series
Created two starts for race 1
Whilst in Race 1 Edit box, copied the start info to all other races

When I edit all other races I now have
Start 1 All competitors (the default)
Start 1 Gold Fleet
Start 2 Silver Fleet

The problem is that all the other races now have two start 1s
Presume it is essential that the default (duplicated) start 1 for all competitors is deleted.
needs to be done anyway to avoid confusion)

My question is: can/should the default start 1 be overwritten automatically?

Regards
Ralph

Hi Ralph,

I'll change it to reploace the start rather than append. The result is as
expected given that the copy appends but I can see that it's a pain as well.
I'll sort it out.

I'm not happy with starts yet - there something about them that irritates me
and I don't know whnat it is...

If it aint broke ....don't fix it!!
