Hi Colin
When editing a race for multiple starts, the facility to copy the sequence to other races is great.
Unfortunately, as I am playing/testing, I copied twice to the same race & instead of overwriting, it
repeated the 2 start sequence so that I ended up with 4 starts for that race!!
Don't know what impact it would have when entering results but suspect it could cause problems with
the user not realising why the problem has occurred.
What would be really nice is if we could enter a range of race numbers and/or there is a warning if
the process is being duplicated
Regards
Ralph
Hi!
Now I'm testing flights too...
When "assigning Race flights", the assignment can be done to a certain race. I was thinking that i I was standing i Rx (or creating a new), it was this race I where assigning flights too. I was wrong.... The default is R1, and can be selected in the drop-down list at the bottom of the assign-window. I would prefer that i defaulted to the race I was working with... (All other is so confusing).
Also there is something that is absolutely needed: When putting boats into flights, you need to inform them! Have not found a proper publishing form for this yet.... This should be in 1.75.....

Hi Martin
Not got round to assigning flights yet
If you publish a competitor list and edit the title this works well enough until Colin issues his
new forms

It currently defaults to the last race you assigned to.

For now use the View+ShowResultCellsAs+FlightNames (or use the drop down
list in the toolbar). This gives you a matrix of competitors and flight
names that is publishable - publishing the series summary always honours the
current cell view.

Colin

Hi Colin
Copy works fine.
Users need to be aware that if starts are copied to other races, the copying process deletes all
existing starts in the target race(s)
If later races have additional/amended starting data, the amendment should be carried out AFTER
copying.

Ralph
