correct time

Can I set the coorrect time round the second in 2 decimal place?
Because two results difference in 1 second give out same correct time.
Can't give out the correct result. If count to 2 decimal place, it can
show the correct time.

No! Sailwave is still stuck in RRS 2001-2004 which specifically stated
"nearest second" and unfortunate;y internally Sailwave works in seconds.
It's something I need to do; but not trivial. One possibility for you is to
multiply all times by 10 to get the resolution you need but that's a bit of
a pain. I'll get it done ASAP.

Suggest you change the actual time by a second to give the desired result
The margin of error on the committee boat is at least +/- half a second anyway so calculating to two
decimal places to avoid a tie is only relevant to the mathematical genius's

Not sure what your exact problem is. At what level of precision do you
record elapsed time, nearest second? If you are recording elapsed time to
the nearest second, it would not be invalid to use a greater degree of
precision for corrected time.

In practice when scoring handicap races we apply the following rules. We do
a scan of the results for all ties before we post.

1. If the tie is between two boats with the same handicap, and they have the
same elapsed time, but were not tied at the finish line, adjust one of the
times so they are different by a second and the corrected times are also
different.

2. If the tie is between two boats with different handicaps who have the
same corrected time to the nearest second they are scored as a tie.

A3 STARTING TIMES AND FINISHING PLACES

The time of a boat's starting signal shall be her starting time, and the
order in which boats finish a race shall determine their finishing places.
However, when a handicap or rating system is used a boat's corrected time
shall determine her finishing place. The 2005-2008 rules removed the
reference to "the nearest second" allowing the handicapping systems to
determine the level of precision.

A7 RACE TIES

If boats are tied at the finishing line or if a handicap or rating system is
used and boats have equal corrected times, the points for the place for
which the boats have tied and for the place(s) immediately below shall be
added together and divided equally. Boats tied for a race prize shall share
it or be given equal prizes.
