Corrected times

I am a new user of sailwave. I am trying to calculate the corrected
times. I have entered the "handicap" times eg. .861, .800 etc. but it
still displays the elapsed time but not the corrected time. Anybody,
help please.

Make sure you have a rating system selected in your scoring system.

The rating, .861 etc then goes in the competitor records (Edit+Competitor)
or double-click on a competitor; i.e. this rating is associated with this
competitor for the whole series.

Then in the Edit+Results window enter the elapsed time or start/finish time.

Score the series.

The main view will show points but you can change what the main view shows
form the View menu or the drop down list in the toolbar.

To show corrected times when publishing results choose to publish race
detail tables as well as the overall points summary.

Attach your file (.blw) to a message to the group if you still have problems
and we can take a look at it...

Hi Colin

Thank you for your willingness to help. Your answer helped me to
recognise that I did not do anything wrong. I eventually got it
right, one have to go to file and then to "New_series using one of
your series as pro-forma". Open one of the series in the example
folder, delete all entrants and fill in your own entrants time,
handi-cap etc, only then the program calculates the corrected times.
