We have a catamaan club and we use a spreadshhet to registers boats. The scores are USSA portsmith ratings however we usr crew weight and wind speed to adjust the scores. Example 2 Hobie 16 one with solo 160lb skippers the second with 2 crew total weight 290 How do I set this up in sailwave Race has beauford scale 3 wind speed
Thanks Charlie
What I have seen done is create new boat classes for the weight adjusted boats. i.e. H16 would be the Hobie 16, but H16H1 would be Hobie 16 with weight adjustment H1, H16H2 would be with weight adjustment H2, etc. Just create the weight adjusted classes for those boats you expect to show up and other as you encounter them. Pretty soon you will have a modified Portsmouth list that has all of the weight adjusted boats in it that you need to deal with. And this way you only deal with it once, not every race or every regatta.
