I am using a custom rating system for our handicap events. The formula is: 60*r+e, where r is the boats rating in minutes and e is the elapsed time in seconds generated from the program.
I keep getting a ‘missing expression’ message, which only requires a click, but it is a nuisance.
Jon did fix this once for me some years ago, but I cannot find that answer anymore.
I think there are some needed expressions, but I cannot find these in any documentation (online or in the ABYC Sailwave users guide).

For a custom rating system there are 3 "expressions" meaning formulas. I
think the error merely means you haven't given all 3. So...
c = 60*r+e or (60*r)+e
e = c-60*r or c-(60*r)
r = (c-e)/60
The additional two expressions would be used for the BCE and BCR and I
think they are always checked for, even it not invoked when you publish.
