Deleting unused entries

Hi All,
I'm using SW 1.95 build 6 and I can't delete any competitors. If I
highlight a competitor then either click delete, or right click the
competitor then select delete competitor. The dialogue box appears to
confirm which ones to delete by hand. As soon click OK the programme
freezes and the only way out is to end programme in task manager. I've
tried uninstalling SW and re-installing but get the same problem, any
ideas?

Same with me, deletes single or multiple competitors
Under Vista, freezes very often, but never on that
