We are about to run a large event where we'll have 4 or 5 fleets split onto 3 race
tracks with different race lengths and no guarantee that all fleets will sail the same
number of races, it will be up to the individual OD to try and stick to the planned
schedule but there is the possibility that one fleet may race more or less than others.
I'd started inputting all the pre entered competitors into one file thinking that would
work OK but I don't want to have some fleets showing a load of DNC's if they didn't
race the same number of races. There is probably a very simple solution to this which
I can't see other than splitting into seperate files for each fleet.
Any help would be appreciated.

We do this regularly. Below are two examples from last year. The key is to
be sure to ONLY score by fleet. If you score the entire series, all those
DNC's you don't want will appear.

An example of how Sailwave scores the races when you have multiple fleets
with different numbers of races can be seen at http://www.abyc
org/2003REGATTAS/OCR/ocr_results.html. It works fine.
