We allow for, say, a Mirror to sail single handed one race, double
handed the next. I think there is a way to do this, but haven't
sussed it!

Hi Chris,
In Edit+Result (or double-click on result cell or roght-cluck...) you can
set a race-specific rating, not by class byt by typing in the number itself.
You can get a summary of which boats use race-specific ratings by using the
View+ShowResultCellsAs+RaceRatings menu (or the drop down list in the
toolbar or F6). When publishing the result series summary the current view
is honoured so you can post a summary of what ratings boats used as well as
results. When publishing results and you include race tables, the correct
race rating will be shown.
Many of the alternative views are useful for getting an overvoew of what's
happening.
