I am a member of the RYA Portsmouth Yardstick Advisory Panel which reviews
the RYA PN's each year and would be interested to look at the "handicap"
relationships (not methods of calculations) between dinghies in use in
different countries and compare them with ours in the UK
If anyone could let me have a copy which can be loaded into Excel (.xls .csv
.txt) I would be most grateful

Before Ralph's mailbox gets filled with attachments I've just sent a
spreadsheet containing Victoria Yachting Association (AUS), US
and UK rating numbers I knocked up a couple of months back. If
anyone knows of other schemes published on the net I'd be
interested to know too...

I have a pretty comprehensive set of entries in my rating file for RYA
Portsmouth Yardstick scheme including numbers (CN or TN) for classes (e.g.
Musto Skiff, RS700) not listed in the RYA publication YR2 and also for the
Small Catamaran Handicap Rating Scheme (needed these for the Honda Fast Cat
Race that Datchet ran round the Isle of Wight earlier this year and will be
doing again in 2002).
If any one wants them please ask. (I registered with Yahoo to upload but
have since forgotten my password and have not revived)
