Discard profile based on individual's tally of races sailed

Hello,

I have a series consisting of 44 races of which 30 were available to race in (i.e.14 dropped due to adverse conditions).
I would like to instigate a discard for competitors, 1 discard for 8 races they’ve sailed, i.e. if they’ve sailed 8 races they may discard 1, if they’ve sailed 16 races they may discard 2.
I do not want to apply discards after 8,16,24 in order in the series
(i.e. not 0,0,0,0,0,0,0,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,3), but I want to apply them after any competitor has completed 8 races (not necessarily contiguously). Is there a way to accomplish this please that I’m missing?

Hi Simon,

Sailwave does not have a mechanism to discard races based on the number of races each individual competitor has sailed.

However, if you set DNC points to zero instead of number of competitors in series, you might get get the results you are looking for. I have not tried this suggestion.
