To follow our racing instructions I require:-
1 discard in season 1 which has 9 races.
1 additional discard in season 2 which has 10 races.
The competition is a total of season 1 and season 2 or 19 races
I used the following discard profile:-
0,0,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2
Checking how this works a discard will be done twice in any race after 10 races.
I think I need help with an expression that may be able to achieve the required outcome. I look forward to your response.

The default discard/drop profile will not do what yo want because :
both drops could come from the first 9 races
both discard/drop could come from last 10 races
or fortuitously 1 discard/drop for races 1-9 and 1 from races 10-19
A way to achieve what you require is to make the series effectively a Q-series and an F-series where races 1-9 are Q-series and races 10-19 are F-series. By doing this you can specify the total number of discards/drops as 2 as per your discard/drop profile and then additionally specify for the F-series that one of the discard/drop must come from F-series. This is what the ILCA’s use for their International Championships.
You will need to check Appendix LE Addendum C on Set up | User interface
Now open Scoring system and click Appendix LE Addendum C tab and I think this how you need to configure information on the tab
