Discards not applied

Hi, I've just used Sailwave 2.02 Build 6 to score our first regatta. Unfortunately I have been unable to persuade the program to apply the single discard after 5 races; the nett score is the same as the total score. The discard profile is 0,0,0,0,0,1,1 Fortunately though I spotted the problem and the prizes went to the right people!

What am I doing wrong?

Apart this hiccup I think this is a great program for ease of use and flexibility.

Hi Rick,

Discard profile should be 0,0,0,0,1 to discard a race once 5 races

have been completed

The profile you were using 0,0,0,0,0,1 applies discard once 6 races

are completed

When you change the discard profile, click the icon that looks like a cog. It tells you when the discards will kick in. Given the discard profile you are using 0,0,0,0,0,1,1 (5 zeroes followed by a one), you will get the following message.

0 discards when 1 races sailed.

0 discards when 2 races sailed.

0 discards when 3 races sailed.

0 discards when 4 races sailed.

0 discards when 5 races sailed.

1 discards when 6 races sailed.

1 discards when 7 races sailed.

1 discards when 8 races sailed.

1 discards when 9 races sailed.

1 discards when 10 races sailed.

1 discards when 11 races sailed.

1 discards when 12 races sailed.

Try four zeroes followed by a one; 0,0,0,0,1
