GREAT NEWS "the maximum number of boats that came to the start
area in any race of the series" + 2
is perfect as it gives at least one point advantage to the helms that get out of bed to
race !
I have been using my own formula based ss on the above to run our series ,as the
large numbers generated by the standard long series scoring was very depressing.
Very few helms could manage all races & attendance started to drop so we modified
our SI's Numbers improved as beginners were encouraged to join in!
BUT I look forward to changing the club completely to sailwave, as it is so intuitive
that I hope others will want to help with recording
