I've just started trying out sailwave for GP14 racing at Poole Yacht
Club, and it looks pretty good so far. However we have a (strange?)
rule here about DNC calculation, and I can't see how to implement it
in sailwave:-
The rule is:
In the first half of the series:
DNC = Max no of series entrants to date + 5.
In the second half:
DNC = Last value of DNC from the first half.
And yes, I do know that its possible that someone who sails and
finishes in the second of the series could be worse of than someone
who didn't compete. Not my idea.
You can set up the #inseries+5 OK as you probably know, but there is no way
to handle the other bit as it stands. Can I ask what the rationale is
behind the method....?
