Hi. For large events we typically have one person enter the finish times and sail numbers and then we get a second person to double check that all finish times are correct before we then publish the results. Whats the most efficient means of double checking that all finish times for a race are correct? The simplest way I can think of is to enter the finish times in a spreadsheet that we check and then import the finish times from a csv file. Is that what others do or have you come across a more efficient way of doing it?
The easiest way to enter finish times is using the Sailnumber Wizard. You can then print the race sorted by finish time and someone can check it. If its correct score the series and publish

Why not just sort the race by finish times (click on column head) and match that listing to your written result sheet?
I usually just run the last two numbers of the times against the score sheet. Quick and easy.
You could print the list if you wanted a permanent record.
