Is there a way in which you can alter the average points system for a Duty RO etc. Our club uses the system whereby average points are worked out for ALL races not sailed, whether they be DNS, DNC etc. Some clubs use a system whereby only races actually sailed are calculated as part of an average score.
I suppose what I’m trying to say is how many different ways are there of scoring for people that are Duty on any particular race/event?

Brian, look at the bottom of the results, says sailwave, nice colouring though.
I have just gone to aBough Beech SC and looked at a particular set of results. Can you tell by looking at it what system they used? It is the one where I would want to use for our club.
I understand that Colin, it was just if you look at how the winners were scored, they only received 1.2 for each of their RO roles? I would have expected a higher score??

Thank you Huw. Jon did send me a link with that information on the other evening, but as I am new to SW, I am still a little unsure of what button to press??? lol.

OOD points in the set of Bough Beech results
that you referred to is ‘average of (sum of
points for non-discarded races) + N points’
where N=0. This option is 2 down from option
selected.
