Maybe this isn't a new feature, but I have noticed that if I go back in to a series say to edit a competitor's elapsed time in race 8, the result box that comes up shows the time (or whatever) for the first recorded result for that competitor (ie usually for race 1). If then one inadvertently clicks ok then the race 8 elapsed time is overwritten with the time recorded for race 1...
Is this meant to happen??

Hi James,
No it's not supposed to happen - I'll check it out... I noticed something
like that too but could never replicate it so I assumed it had gone away.

Sorry Colin but to make matters worse...
If in one of those races I used "laps" to differentiate between boats that
completed a lesser number of the laps than the leaders (which doesn't often
happen at ASC, so often I don't bother input the number of laps completed),
then the system seems to pick up the first use of the number of laps for a
given competitor when I want to calculate Rwin (but not otherwise). So
though the corrected times and hence placings look fine, the Rwins are
calculated using the elapsed time/lap data and where there isn't a lap
number, using the number sailwave first thought of so to speak...
I still think it is a fantastic package.... etc etc!

Fantastic... The 6 Oct beta seems to have fixed the edit+result problem and
I expect that it will have fixed my Rwin problem as well (but I can't test
it till Monday as I have stupidly left the relevant blw file on my work pc!)
I will let you know next week but fingers crossed...
