Oh, yeah!
It was me… I’ve been cooperating with these guys since we did the 49er EC in cooperation in 2002. I think I sent this link prox. last may…
Anyway, it was a “large” test of this system last autumn when using it during the Norwegian Zoom8 championship. I’ve not seen the results yet… There was som minor problems about attaching the senders to these boats, but on bigger boats it should not be any problems. The sender is about 8x3x10 cm + the antenna, if I remember correct.
You’re right about the cost, but they’re supposed to drop.
Think Prosail are thinking about renting them for certain regattas…

I am running a regatta where the scoring
penalty is the addition of time to a boats elapsed time rather than a percentage
penalty. Any suggestion on how I might be able to achieve this using sailwave?
