Just found out another problem when I Email my published results to our Club members the layout of the recieved copy is totally different from the layout sent. Any ideas?

Dave,
Can you provide images of the two, i.e. one from an email
and one when publishing direct to web browser? I have just done a test and the
two were much as I expected apart from logos, but then again I would have
expected the logos to be missing.
Perhaps it would be better to publish to the web browser and
then generate a PDF using one of several available free PDF printer drivers.

The problem seems to be with the version of sailwave that I am now using as last season I emailed the results by publishing them then choosing send from the drop down menu then emailing them to our circulation list and they all came out exactly as the original but now everything especially the Club burgees are misplaced and the Emailed results do not resemble the originals

Can you explain in what way is the emailed version different to your published version?
Do you publish to a file or to a browser?
Then when you email, do you also attach the picture (burgee) files ?
As was previously mentioned, it would help if you could send us an example.

Hi There.
The Emailed results just apears on the recipients Screen as a jumble of text whereas the sent file is as per the usual layout for published results. Also when selecting “send/as Email” from the drop down menu the file used to be sent as an attachment & I could send comments or information with it but now it takes up the whole Email and I cannot add text.

I was able to send results via email from Sailwave (v2b4), using the “Publish / Destination - Email save in Outbox to send later”
The results arrived in normal style as an attachment, but I wasn’t given an opportunity to add comments to the email.
My email client is Outlook Express and is set as such in the Windows Internet Options / Programs / Email setting.
