Entering Average points

Hi,

We have a system whereby a sailor who acts as OOD for the race gets
the average points for thier performance in the series ( as
calculated at the end of the series before discards.)

How can I manually enter this score ( eg
average points for series = 4.4 rounded down to 4 as the points
assigned to this sailor for the race in which he was OOD.

Hi Seamus,

Sailwave can do this for you. Go to Edit+ScoringSystem, then the Scoring
codes tab, edit the OOD code (or add one it it's not there) and set it's
method to "average of (sum of points for all races) + N". N in your case is
0 so you can ignore it.

Sailwave recalulates the average every time you score the series.

You can set the number of decimal points that point calculations are
performed to from the Edit+ScoringSystem race scoring tab; 0 in your case,
since you want it rounded to an integer. NB: 0DP is contrary to ISAF
Appendix A (as I remember) so you may need an SI for it.
