entering data - sail no wizard

Hi all,

Noddy question from a new-boy. Is there a way to get sailwave to
default to entering finish times? It always seems to need to be told
that I want to give it a finish time, not a position or elapsed
time.....

BTW Great software really good.

Hi Phil,
Edit the race (right-click on the race column header, or Edit\Race\pick
race from menu).

You should see a list of starts - or probably just one if this is a plain
vanilla series you've created with Sailwave. Edit the start, and you will
see an option 'Finishes will be recorded as'. Change this to 'Finish
Time'. This should do the trick.

Regards,

James

Thanks both - got that sorted out.

Great to see the support system working so well - and promptly!

Thanks again, Phil

You need to change the option from finish position to finish time. It will also do real time scoring so you put in the computer clock time as each boats finish is recorded.
