At the Tiger Trophy we have a Pursuit race on Sunday, finishing boats from a pair of lead RIBs & at
each of the six marks of the course (which is BIG!!).
With 200-250 boats, sorting out results & cross checking for boats which have incorrectly carried on
to the next mark is obviously very time consuming & annoying to competitors who want to go home.
This problem is then exacerbated by the need to input the results into SW to score overall series
results
Without wishing to go into great detail, I have come up with a quicker process which uses Sail
Number Wizard but entering the last boat first & the first boat last ie entering boats in REVERSE
order.
I am assuming that SW cannot cope with this.
A solution is to enter details in a spreadsheet first & then import into SW.
However, a spreadsheet will require someone to check that the sail number has not already been
recorded at an earlier mark.
The Wizard would identify the duplication & make life much easier.
Is there a way of providing this facility?
If the answer is yes but it requires quite a lot of work - ignore my request
